Trains

I am always on this road that parallels the railroad tracks. I have seen a lot of things go by, once in awhile I remember to brake out my camera and snap a picture. Friday on my way home, I saw a semi that had been hit by the train (with a load of hay on his trailer & one trailer missing.) One time there were rail cars loaded with John Deere tractors, rail cars filled with new cars, wood, wheat...it is neat to see all the things that go by!

Baby Allie's blanket

Here are the pictures of Allie's blanket! My sister had her 1st baby girl (#3) so I wanted to make her something cute and girly! I bought this pattern a year ago and have wanted to make it, now I had an excuse/reason too! I love to pick out the material & put them all together. This one was selling for $140.00 at the craft fair-I see why, very time consuming, but oh so worth it.

the back-you can't see it very well but there are flowers on each square from sewing on each petal.

The finished blanket.

sleeping kids

I came home from scouts and this is how I found Raygn!

He must have been tired because he didn't even finish his cake (notice it in the background.)

I know that I usually find Aleigha in Addie's bed but this morning I found Addie in Aleigha's bed! She said she had told Aleigha that she would sleep with her.

Young Women in Excellence

Dana Phillips-quoting The Living Christ, this was one of the most touching events of the night. The spirit was so strong and it was a testimony to everyone there. She did a great job.-I want to memorize it now!

Addie telling about making the sacrament bread. She told a funny story about her bread. She had forgot it one week so she had to go get some from her leader's house. The next week she made her a loaf. After choir practice we went to the suburban & there were the boys watching a movie, the bread had about a 1/4 of the loaf gone (torn off), they said they didn't know it was for someone and they were hungry! She still gave it to her!!

Dameon made up a song and played it for us.

All the young women & their projects.

Ryan's Birthday

The day before was our 13th wedding Anniversary. We went to this little cabin/hotel called the outpost in Almo. It was a lot of fun, relaxing, and quite. We had an hour massage, steak dinner, and a VERY quiet night. The food was really good and the place it really cute, -very western. I am glad we got to spend some time together. Thank You Becky for watching the kids for us.

My Ryan turned 32! Porter wanted to put all 32 candles in the cake...it was a big flame, Ryan was worried that there would be wax all over. (ah...yeah with that many candles!)

I made him his favorite cake it is so fattening and sugary...just what he loves! Happy birthday Lover!

As a parent birhday's aren't always that much fun. We had to figure out how to get Addie to Piano, go to the school board meeting and celebrate Ryan's birthday. Grandpa took Addie for us so we could go to the school board meeting, Porter tended Aleigha & Raygn. We told Raygn when we got home we would come wake him up so he could sing Happy Birthday to Ryan. I went & got him, he sang but was to tired to eat any cake or ice cream, so he went back to bed. The next morning he was mad because we didn't come wake him up! We didn't get him in the pictures either so he still doesn't believe us.
