Raygn at the Dentist

Raygn had to get 4 teeth pulled because he has his permanent teeth coming in funny so the Orthodontist recommended we pull 4 to make room for those.

He never had the gas before so it was pretty funny.

Now he has two big holes and talks cuter then ever!! He is our expensive mouth kid. He already has a wire thing in his mouth to keep his teeth in place and they found a cavity. NO MORE CANDY RAYGN

Derby Time! 2009

This year the pinewood derby was a little different, there was a cub scout division and then a dad division. Porter won his division and Ryan won his!! This is always a fun event for the boys & their dads, Porter gets so excited about making and racing his car.

They had a really neat track this year it was all computer ran and they won on time and not just someone calling it. Here are the scores look how close 2 & 3rd are!

Porter was pretty excited to win it two years in a row. He keeps his cars in a shoe box under his bed and doesn't let anyone play with them. Way to go Porter (and Ryan for all the help you have given Port.)

Goodbye springbreak & AZ

In the airplane over the Grand Canyon. It is so big we went there two yrs. ago but you only get to see a little bit of it. We flew over it for abt. 10min it was really cool to see from the air.

one last swimming picture because this is what we did everyday. The one day we went to funtastics we got home at abt.8:00 and the kids still went out until 9:30. They loved it.

Sabino Canyon-Spring break

We went to this canyon named Sabino Canyon. I have never been to AZ. so I never knew there was so many different kinds of cactus. We rode a tram up to the top, there are 9 different bridges you cross on your way up, we got off at bridge 6 to play in the water. It was so nice and refreshing!

I have never caught a lizard before...well now I have caught two! One got away because I was getting a better hold on it and let go of his belly and held on to his tail and it broke right off and was wiggling all over.(freaky!!) So we had to catch another one for pictures!

Spring Break

Our daily activity x2-we went everyday two times(except for Sunday) the kids didn't think they would get burnt in one day!

Funtastics-water bumber boats, go-carts, carousel horses...

miniature golf (two different courses of 18 holes each)...

arcade games, laser tag, air hockey...you know the place! Aleigha loved the pretzels and cheese, the only thing was that the cheese was a little too hot for her. She would eat it and then get a napkin and wipe her tongue off and then go back for more! It was pretty funny to watch her.

Spring Break-2

 

We went to Peter Piper Pizza-they had a carousel, arcade games, & everyones favorite...PIZZA!

 

 

The kids went swimming two times for 2-3 hours each and it was hot!  There are pictures of the damage.  Keep checking.

Spring Break 2009-1

We went to some of Kristy's friends' house and rode horse's.  This was out in the cactus.  There is cactus here like we have sagebrush at home.  I never knew there was so many different kinds of cactus.

Fallon & Nazz cart

Fallon came to see us for about 2 mins. Joyce and Fallon were riding to Boise with Ryan. Aleigha loves her cousins!

We went to Nazz Cart on Monday for a Farm Bureau party. It was lots of fun. Ryan and Porter drove the go-carts and the kids and I climbed the rock wall, ate pizza, & played in the bounce house. What a fun night!

Piano festival

One weekend it was violin festival and the next piano. Addie has an amazing talent with music, she has excelled in both her instruments and loves it. I rarely have to tell her to practice. Ryan and I love to listen to her practice, we are a little sad she is done because we both loved the song she played for festival (one more then the other). Way to go Addie!

The man shed

So this is the man shed! Since Ryan asked me to go take pictures of some pipes for him I thought that since I was out there I would let everyone see what the man shed looked like! Lots of guy things like, oil, tools, big boy toys, you can't really see it but yes there is even a mini fridge. Ryan is a little o.c.d. and keeps everything neat and tidy. I do love that man.

Dr. Suess Day!

Every year on Dr. Seuss's Birthday the school has a Dr. Seuss day. All the kids wear their p.j.'s or dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character. They read books and we(parents, grandparents, etc...) get to come in and read with them. They bring their sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals to lay on. After the reading is over there is a mooing contest & everyone get a piece of cake to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday! I love our teachers they are great.
